NBA: David Lee announces his resignation

David Lee has ended his NBA career. This was announced personally by the 34-year-old via Instagram.

Lee played in the NBA for twelve years, most recently last season for the San Antonio Spurs. There he had played 7.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in 79 games.

The Big Man had his most successful time with the Warriors, for which he played from 2010 to 2015. So he won a title with the Dubs. In addition, Lee made it to the All-Star Game twice – in 2010 as Knicks player and in 2013 as Golden States player.

In his most productive season he had an average of 20.2 points and 11.7 rebounds (2019/10 for New York).
