NFL: Former professional Glenn dies in car accident

Shock news for the New England Patriots from the US professional football league NFL: Former professional Terry Glenn died in a car accident.

The 43-year-old died after driving his car against a concrete protective wall. This was announced by the police in Irving/Texas on Monday.

Glenn has played a total of twelve seasons for New England, the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. He leaves his fiancée and three children.

“We are shocked and deeply sad. Terry was one of the most talented receivers we’ve ever had,”said Patriots owner Robert Kraft. For so many fans, his rookie season will remain one of the most impressive memories.
