NFL: Media: Browns want to get Manning

The Cleveland Browns are once again working on their management days – and obviously have a big name in their sights. According to information from CBS Sports, the Brown’s Peyton Manning want to win the front office.

According to this, Brown’s owner Jimmy Haslam is said to show “very serious interest” in Manning’s commitment. A possible role for the future Hall of Famer would therefore be the post of president.

CBS also reports that Manning himself is interested in taking on a leading role in an NFL team or even buying shares in a team. The Tennessee Titans and the New Orleans Saints are potential candidates.

However, Haslam and Manning have a certain common ground. Haslam has very close ties with the University of Tennessee, for which Manning played in college times. They have known each other since those days when Manning was a teenager.
