NHL: Rieders Coyotes with third victory in a row

Tobias Rieder and the Arizona Coyotes are slowly gaining momentum. After eleven straight defeats at the start of the season, the team celebrated their third consecutive victory with a 4-1 win at the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The coyotes, where Rieder finished the season with his fourth goal, remain the worst team in the league.

The Anaheim Ducks won 3-2 without the injured Korbinian Holzer after a penalty shoot-out against the San Jose Sharks and also scored their third consecutive victory.

Philipp Grubauer, the national goalkeeper, was also not involved in the 4-1 defeat of his Washington Capitals against the Calgary Flames.
