NBA: Irving: Good that series is torn

The 16 games long winning streak of the Boston Celtics is torn after the defeat against the Heat. According to Kyrie Irving, it was about time.

“It was a great run we had,”Irving said after the game,”but it was time for the series to end.” 16 times in a row Celtics had won and are leading the Eastern Conference.

Al Horford wasn’t in a bad mood after the defeat either:”I’m proud of these guys,”he said,”Even today we could have won in the end, but we didn’t make the necessary placements,” he said to the streak:”It’s not like we dominated every game. We have won through our will and struggle.”

Meanwhile, coach Brad Stevens paid respect to his opponent from South Beach:”They have a great coach and have opened their asses today. You deserve to win. Her pace was decisive.”
