Dwyane Wade continues to come from the bank for Cleveland Cavaliers. But the former superstar has no problems with this and instead enjoys his new role for the stumbling contender in the east.
“I enjoy it and I think we all do it,”Wade told cleveland. com about his role as leader of the reservists.”In the Second Unit we talk a lot. We also try to exert a positive influence from the Bank. When we are on the field, we want to generate stops. If we can do that, it’ll all go by itself.”
We were also praised by the coach for Wade and his influence on the reservists:”It is important for us that he controls the Second Unit. He’s aggressive and we let everything run through him,”Ty Lue explained,”so he gets a better rhythm. I think he understands that and enjoys it now.”
In his 17 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Wade has played 10.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in about 23 minutes per game. To date, it has had a positive net rating of 5.2. Only Kyle Korver can top this of the players who were on the field for at least 11 minutes per game.
