Winter sports: Gasser also wins second Big-Air of the season

Snowboarder Anna Gasser has also won the second Big-Air competition of the current World Cup season.

The Carinthian reached the highest score in two out of three final runs in Beijing on Saturday and won with 175.50 points ahead of the Japanese Miyabi Onitsuka (155.75) and the Finnish Enni Rukajärvi (154.0).

Gasser had already won the opening competition in Milan two weeks ago. In the World Cup, Austria’s “Sportswoman of the Year” leads the way with a maximum score of 2,000.

The next competition will take place on Saturday in one week in Mönchengladbach.
