NBA: Knee problems: Wall fails for two weeks

The Washington Wizards will probably have to do without John Wall for two weeks. This reported the franchise in a message on Saturday. Accordingly, the Point Guard suffers from an inflammation of the left knee.

The injury follows a collision with an opponent in the game against Dallas Mavericks on 7 March. November. Despite persistent knee problems, Wall was on parquet in the following games, only the duel against the Toronto Raptors had to be suspended by the four-time all-star.

Now the wizards have announced that medical treatment is needed to prevent inflammation. The 24-year-old has played an average of 20.3 points, 9.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 16 games so far this season.

“It’s OK with me if John is out for two weeks as long as it makes him better,”said Center Marcin Gortat to his teammate’s forced break,”Two weeks is not two months. Wall’s place in the starting five will be taken over by Tim Frazier, who has so far been able to score 3.2 points and 3.9 assists in a good 16 minutes’ time.
