NFL: Julio Jones dominates against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Julio Jones once again provided an impressive performance. In his Atlanta Falcons’ victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (34:20) in Week 12, he scored over 250 yards and two touchdowns. At the same time, he expanded his own NFL record.

Julio Jones hadn’t really arrived this season yet. Before Week 12, Jones came up with exactly one touchdown this season. However, he then added two more against the Bucs to his account.

What’s more, Jones had a total of twelve receptions for 253 yards. This means that he has already won three games with at least 250 yards in his career. No other receiver in the history of the NFL has ever played more than one such game.

Worth seeing was just his first touch-down catch of the day, as it was a passport from receiver colleague Mohamed Sanu over 51 yards. The Falcons were set up in a kind of wildcat formation for this snap.
