Basketball: Former NBA pro Gordon arrested

The long-time NBA professional Ben Gordon has been arrested after a robbery and subsequent use of weapons. This was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department USA Today. The currently non-contractual basketball player is said to have demanded that his landlord return the deposit on Saturday morning (local time). The 34-year-old allegedly threatened the man with a knife and punched him in the face.

Gordon first got the landlord to return parts of the bail. Then he left the scene and returned with a knife. When a witness came to help the attacked, Gordon fled, but was later picked up by the police.

The London-born, number three in the 2004 NBA draft, has played professional league for the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats and Orlando Magic. On the 19th. He has to appear before the court on 12 December.
