Handball: foxes extend with experienced Lindberg until 2021

The Danish international Hans Lindberg will probably be playing at the Füchsen Berlin until the end of his career. The 36-year-old prematurely extended his contract with the current Bundesliga leader by another two years until 2019. At the end of the contract, Lindberg will be 40 years old and very likely to end his career.

“I am proud to continue to be a part of this successful team. My wish is to end my career in Berlin. I am very much looking forward to the next four years,”said the right-wing outsider.

“With Mattias Zachrisson, he is perhaps the strongest right-wing pliers in the Bundesliga,” said Bob Hanning, manager of foxes at Lindberg:”His professionalism and attitude towards our profession do us good.

Lindberg, who scored 60 goals in 14 games this season, has been playing for the capital club since January 2016. The two-time European champion (2008 and 2012) had come to Berlin from the then insolvent HSV Hamburg, where he quickly developed into a top performer.
