Ski alpin: Friend warns Neureuther of too fast a comeback

Ski jumper Severin Freund warned his fellow ski jumper Felix Neureuther against a too quick return to the piste:”I would be very happy for him. But I still believe that it has to be well considered,”Freund told Bayerischer Rundfunk.

Slalom specialist Neureuther (33) had recently declared that, following a rupture of the cruciate ligament, he would continue to dream of participating in the Olympics.

“Of course, the Olympic Games are a great motivator. But on the other hand, there is still something after that,”said the 29-year-old friend.

The 2015 World Champion suffered his second rupture of the cruciate ligament in six months this summer and missed the Winter Games in Pyeongchang (9th place). till 25. February).
