NBA: Stress response!

The Atlanta Hawks suffered another loss on Wednesday in an already difficult season. Center Dewayne Dedmon has developed a stress reaction on the left tibia and will be missing for a long time.

According to the Hawks press release, Dedmon’s gonna be out three to six weeks. An MRI examination had found the injury – positively seen at least in time before Dedmon could have contracted a fracture.

The center, which came in the summer as a Free Agent from San Antonio, has been one of the most productive Hawks players to date. In 20 games he scored 11.1 points and 7.8 rebounds with a throwing rate of 60.1 percent.

Mike Muscala has already been injured in the frontcourt of the Hawks, which is probably why Rookie John Collins will have even more time to play. In addition, Miles Plumlee returned from a quadriceps injury on Saturday.
