Ski Alpin: How Hirscher thinks about the #metoo movement

The #metoo debate has also reached the Alpine Ski World Cup in recent weeks. Before the World Cup races in Beaver Creek, Marcel Hirscher will also comment on the topic for the first time in an interview with the Kronen Zeitung.

“According to the ski superstar,” I know from my own experience what it’s like when, for example, fans go beyond the limits of privacy. Without wanting to compare this with the much more serious issues at stake now.”

Hirscher will not be addressed in more detail by the Krone about Nicola Werdenigg’s accusations of abuse, which first brought the debate into the Ski World Cup. The six-time overall World Cup winner will compete in the first giant slalom of the season on Sunday.
