Alpine Skiing: Sensation!

Only sport can write such stories! After Conny Hütter tore her cruciate ligament in January 2017 and dropped out for the rest of the season, the 25-year-old returns to the ski circus with a bang and triumphs on the downhill in Lake Louise.

The victory is synonymous with Hütters first triumph in a descent. Tina Weirather finished in second place, Mikaela Shiffrin completed the podium and also set a strong exclamation mark in the speed range. Lindsey Vonn had a frightening second when she fell hard on her way to the finish line, but luckily she was able to get up herself.

Anna Veith also celebrated her comeback, but after just under a year the 28-year-old was not really satisfied with her ride. Basically, however, it is important to have finished the race healthy again.

Further information will follow shortly
