Ski Alpin: Damper for Rebensburg in Weirather’s victory

Viktoria Rebensburg had to put up with a small damper at the end of the World Cup races in Lake Louise, Canada. On the day after her outstanding second place in the second downhill, the 28-year-old came in only twelfth place in the Super-G.

After two giant slalom victories already, she did not make it to the top ten in her fifth race of the season for the first time.

The victory was won by Tina Weirather (Liechtenstein). She won ahead of Lara Gut (Switzerland/+0.11 seconds) and world champion Nicole Schmidhofer (Austria/+0.27). Kira Weidle (Starnberg), who surprisingly finished eighth on the previous day in eighth place, did not make it into the top 20.
