Ski Alpin: Hirscher triumphs at first RTL

Marcel Hirscher won the World Cup giant slalom in a confident manner on Sunday at Beaver Creek. The Salzburg ski racer, who started the season with an ankle fracture in August with a training gap, referred the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen (0.88) and the German Stefan Luitz (1.03) to the other podium positions. Manuel Feller finished fourth (1.04).

For Hirscher it was the 46th. Victory in the World Cup, 23. in giant slalom. It was his fourth victory in a world cup race at Beaver Creek.
