According to rumors of a possible career end around Derrick Rose, the former MVP is back with Cleveland Cavaliers. The Point Guard will finish his rehab in Ohio and work on a comeback.
This was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. So Rose flew back to Cleveland on Monday from Chicago, where he’s been staying for the last few weeks,”said Cavs-GM Koby Altman in a statement:” We’ll continue to support him and have a lot of patience with him,”coach Ty Lue said it would take Rose a few weeks to get back on the field.
“He’s too young and too talented to give up so early. I know he’s frustrated, but I’m glad he’s better and he’s back.”
Rose was missing in 16 of the 23 games of the Cavs. During Cleveland’s winning streak (12 victories in a row) Rose was not involved. He doesn’t have to explain himself to us in any way,”LeBron James told the assembled press.” I just hope that we can support him well.”
Rose was rumored to think of a premature end to his career. Numerous injuries frustrated the former MVP, who only joined the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer. He signed a contract with the Cavs for one year, in which he collected around 2.1 million dollars.
