NBA: No press at relatives of Los Angeles Lakers introduce’ LaVar Ball Rule

The Los Angeles Lakers are pulling through. Members of the players may not be interviewed in certain areas of the arena during and after the matches. Insiders call it the LaVar Ball Rule. Lonzo Ball’s father made a name for himself with some interviews.

Accordingly, media may no longer sit in the block in which the family, friends or agents of the players sit. Interviews in this zone and in the vicinity of the tunnel were expressly forbidden. Our approach is not new, it already existed before,”a spokesperson told ESPN,” The media presence in this section has increased, but it is directly for family and friends. This is about privacy.”

In reality, the action is of course also aimed at LaVar Ball, who has aroused the interest of the media on several occasions:”I’m not worried about the LaVar Ball Rule,”Lonzo’s father told ESPN.

LaVar Ball made headlines recently, when he criticized the coaching of the Lakers and Julius Randle approached harshly.
