Stephen Curry injured his ankle in the game of his Golden State Warriors at the New Orleans Pelicans shortly before the end. A post-match examination did not reveal a more serious injury. However, the guard could pause in the next games.
“I twisted my ankle,”Curry said after the game.”It hasn’t happened to me in a while. The two-time MVP left the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans with a track and crutches.
Curry was injured in the last minute of the game when he rattled with Pelican’s Guard E’ Twaun Moore,”That was a stupid play from me,”Curry said,”I wanted the steal and climbed on E’ Twaun’s shoe. It’s not clear how many games the Guard will now pause.
“He doesn’t have to rush things,”Klay Thompson said about Curry’s return,”He had no more problems with the ankle for a while. He should take his time and play again when he feels 100 percent fit.”
The next game of the Warriors takes place on the night from Wednesday to Thursday when Golden State hosts Curry’s hometown of Charlotte. The multiple All Star joked that he can’t play golf with his father Dell.
