NBA: Rose apologizes to the Cavs for his absence

After his thoughts on a possible career end Derrick Rose is back with Cleveland Cavaliers. There he apologized for his absence, although he was not asked to do so.

That’s what ESPN says. Accordingly, the MVP spoke of 2011 before the latest game of the Cavs against the kings in the cabin to the team. Coach Tyronn Lue confirmed:”He didn’t have to do it, but he wanted to,”he explained.

Lue continues:”He asked me to say a few words to the team before the shootaround. Everyone welcomed him and we’re all happy to have him back.”

The days before, the Cavaliers had always stressed that Rose didn’t have to give them any explanation.”He doesn’t owe us anything,”LeBron James said.”The main thing is that he’s happy.”

After having to recover from an ankle injury, Rose had apparently been thinking about a career end. In the meantime he has decided against it and is working on his comeback. It is not yet clear when it will be so far and what role Rose will play.
