NHL: Next setback for Edmonton despite Draisaitl goal

The German international Leon Draisaitl’s eighth goal of the season did not save the Edmonton Oilers from their next setback in the NHL. The Canadians lost at home against the Philadelphia Flyers 2:4 – it was already the 17th time. Defeat on the 28th. Season game.

The 22-year-old Draisaitl had brought his team into the lead with an under-ranking goal. But then the guests turned the game around and prevented Edmonton from loosely connecting to the coveted play-off ranks.

Thanks to superstar Alexander Ovechkin for the Washington Capitals, the season runs much better. Without Philipp Grubauer, the Caps celebrated their third consecutive win in a row, with Ovechkin scoring his 21st victory in a 6-2 draw against the Chicago Blackhawks. Seasonal hit.

Without international Korbinian Holzer, Anaheim Ducks won 3-0 against the Ottawa Senators. Holzer (29) has so far only made ten appearances this season.

Washington Capitals – Chicago Blackhawks 6:2 BOXSCORE
