Basketball: Bayern Munich celebrates ninth victory in series

In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich remains the leader of the standings. The team of coach Sasa Djordjevic won the top match against the third-placed MHP giant Ludwigsburg with 91:70.

Alba Berlin, however, remains four points behind the Munich team. The former series champion won at s. Oliver Würzburg with 90:76. The Frankfurt Skyliners had no trouble against the polar bears Bremerhaven at 95:69.

Devin Booker was the outstanding player in FC Bayern’s ninth consecutive league victory with 17 points.

With 24:2 points, the three-time champion marches ahead. Ludwigsburg, who has three fewer than the Munich team, remains in the top group with 16:4 points.

On late Saturday evening, champion Brose Bamberg (14:8 points) is challenged against Science City Jena.
