BBL: Bayreuth remains in the top group

Medi Bayreuth remains in the top group of BBL. With 93:72 (50:39) against rising star Oettinger Rockets Erfurt, the Franconians celebrated their fifth victory in the past six games and climbed to third place in the standings.

With 18:6 points Bayreuth is only behind the leaders Bayern Munich (24:2) and Alba Berlin (20:6). Best thrower was Gabe York with 20 points.

Telekom Baskets Bonn, who beat EWE Baskets Oldenburg by 90:68 (46:30), finished seventh. Ratiopharm Ulm is the new eight after 84:70 (37:41) in the Giessen 46ers.
