NFL: Artificial gymnast Biles makes his debut as cheerleader

The four-time gymnastics Olympic champion Simone Biles also cuts a fine figure on the lawn. The 20-year-old, who won four gold and one bronze medals for the USA at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, made her debut as a cheerleader against the San Francisco 49ers in the Houston Texans’ NFL game on Sunday.

A week ago, Biles prepared for her big appearance as an “honorary member” of the Texans cheerleader and was presented with the “legendary” red boots in a festive ceremony on Friday.

“I’m so excited to dance at the Texan game,”Biles wrote on Instagram. Biles integrated seamlessly into the group and proved her talent in various choreographies.

The world athlete of the year 2017 had a one-year break after Rio and is now preparing for her comeback with her new coach Laurent Landi. For her appearance at the Texans, Biles took a break from intensive training.
