Ski jumping: Friday and Wellinger celebrate double victory in Titisee-Neustadt

Richard Freitag celebrated his second victory of the season at the Home World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt. The Sachse prevailed in the competition, which was shortened to one round, ahead of his team mate Andreas Wellinger and the Norwegian Daniel Andre Tande and extended his lead in the overall World Cup.

For Friday it was the seventh World Cup victory of his career, already last weekend in Nizhny Tagil he had secured a German double victory behind Wellinger.

Three weeks before the Four Hills Tournament, the duo is definitely one of the closest favourites.
