Milos Teodosic could make his comeback for the Los Angeles Clippers in the next few games. The Serbian has almost completely cured his left foot injury and is on the run, as Clippers coach Doc Rivers confirmed.
“He’s close,”Coach Rivers told the L. A. Either in the next game or in our next away game,”added Rivers, referring to a possible comeback date. The Clippers play the Toronto Raptors at home from Monday to Tuesday night.
“He was able to participate in the complete units on Friday and Saturday and has a good chance of playing again soon,”Rivers continued. Clippers could use guard play. With the exception of starters Lou Williams and Austin Rivers, the rotation on the small positions is extremely narrowed, mainly due to Patrick Beverley’s seasonal outing.
Teodosic was injured in the second game of the season against the Phoenix Suns on the sole of his foot and has not been able to play since then. The Serbian only dared to jump into the NBA in the summer, when he switched from CSKA Moscow to the Clippers.
