Snowboard: Big Air: Mittermüller and Flemming miss finale

Snowboarders Silvia Mittermüller and Nadja Flemming missed the finals at the Big Air World Cup in Copper Mountain/USA. Mittermüller finished 16th, Flemming 26th. Place.

The Japanese Reira Iwabuchi won. Norwegian Mons Roisland won the men’s race.

The German duo has already met the DSV’s Olympic qualification criteria. However, this is not the same for snowboarders as a starting place at the winter games.

Mittermüller and Flemming should be among the top 30 athletes on an accumulated list of the FIS World Federation. Big Air is Olympic for the first time in Pyeongchang.
