Boxing: Enlarged prostate: Boxing trainer Wegner in the hospital

The successful boxing coach Ulli Wegner is located in a Berlin hospital. The 75-year-old was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on Wednesday.

“According to the circumstances,”the World Champion maker is quoted in the paper:”After a catheter treatment, extensive examinations are now being carried out. Next, an MRI will be done.”

Wegner, who made German boxing greats such as Sven Ottke and Arthur Abraham into champions, as well as Markus Beyer and Marco Huck, had gone into treatment for persistent pain.

“I’m not complaining. There’s a little fire,”said Wegner. He wants to be home by Christmas. His advice:”I can only advise everyone to go to the preventive checkup.”
