NBA: George before his return to Indiana:”For some reason, they’re going to boo.”

Paul George returns to the Indiana Pacers in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s jersey for the first time this coming night (1:00 live on DAZN). He’s expecting a hostile atmosphere, but he’s looking forward to it.

When asked what George was expecting in Indiana, he replied:”They will boo me. I can’t imagine it going any other way. Pacers fans outnumber George fans.”

However, he has no problem with that:”I’m looking forward to it. For some reason, they’re gonna boo me out – but I’ll accept that and generate strength from it.”

Measured against the quality we have in the squad, we have to look better,”says George,” We don’t panic, but it’s clear that we have to play better. We can always say that we still have to find each other and things like that, but at some point it has to stop.”
