Alpine skiing: Reichelt could ski until he is 42 years old

Despite his now advanced age of 37 years of skiing, Hannes Reichelt is still fully motivated and does not think about stopping. He could even imagine driving up to 42.

“I still have a lot of fun with the whole thing. As long as I am healthy and fit, there is therefore no reason for me to let it go,”says Reichelt before the races in Val Gardena opposite the Krone. Even the back problems that have plagued him in recent years are under control, he assures Reichelt and adds with a wink of the eye:”I could even imagine that I’ll be driving until the next Olympic season!

With two third-place finishes in the Super-Gs of Beaver Creek and Lake Louise, the speed specialist proved that he is not yet old-fashioned. Reichelt has the next chance to underline his good form already on Friday, when the next Super-G on the Saslong is on the agenda (starting at 12:15 pm in the SPOX-LIVETICKER).
