NHL: Bitter bankruptcy for Greiss and the Islanders

National goalkeeper Thomas Greiss scored a bitter 2-5 defeat against Dallas Stars in the NHL with the New York Islanders. Greiss, who was replaced for Jaroslav Halak in the second period, could no longer prevent the defeat. Halak had scored four goals in 20 shots on his case.

“This is a team we don’t get to see often. I don’t know, sometimes there are just things you can’t explain,”said Islanders captain John Tavares. Greiss, who was born at the age of 15. six of seven shots.

The Islanders, in which defender Dennis Seidenberg was not taken into account, are currently on the first wildcard spot in the east with 37 points.
