Ski Alpin: Hirscher leads in Alta Badia before Kristoffersen

Marcel Hirscher was once again in a class of his own at the first round of the giant slalom of Alta Badia and takes the lead as the winner (13.30 hrs in the SPOX-Liveticker).

However, the Salzburger’s third victory of the season will certainly not be an automatic runner-up. Only 0.17 seconds behind Hirscher, the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen finished in second place. The Slovenian Zan Kranjec (+0.33 seconds) is surprisingly on the third intermediate rank.

With Manuel Feller (+0.37 sec.) another Austrian has the chance to finish on the podium at the prestigious giant slalom on the legendary Gran Risa slope. Hirscher’s fiercest RTL rivals Ted Ligety (+0.75 sec.) and Alexis Pinturault (+1.18 sec.) are already well behind.
