Basketball: Würzburg wins classes

Bundesliga club s. Oliver Würzburg has signed the Canadian international Owen Klassen. As the Lower Franconians announced on Thursday, the 26-year-old signed a contract until the end of the season.

Classes was still active for the Greek club PAOK Thessaloniki in the Champions League on Wednesday.

From 2015 to the end of 2016, Owen had played 42 games for Phoenix Hagen in the German Bundesliga,”Owen meets our requirements in all respects. It is an athletic and mobile center that can also be used as a power forward.

He is at the best age, knows the league and brings international experience with him,”said Würzburg coach Dirk Bauermann.
