NBA: Cavaliers: Thomas trains for his comeback in the G-League

The Cleveland Cavaliers are eagerly awaiting the debut of Isaiah Thomas. He was on the team in the latest game against the Bulls. However, his current focus is on training in the G-League.

As the franchise announced on Thursday, Thomas and Ante Zizic were sent to the G-League to join the Canton Charge, which belonged to the Cavaliers.

Thomas took part in the Fullcourt on Thursday at five-on-five. Afterwards he came back to “his” team and took part in the warm-up before the game against the Bulls, he was even recorded in the game sheet.

Now one can assume that IT trains more often with the farm team. An exact date for a comeback in the NBA is not scheduled, but you can expect a match in January. The Christmas Games are definitely too early for Thomas.

Thomas is still recovering from a hip injury he sustained in the 2017 playoffs at the Boston Celtics. Later he was traded to the Cavaliers in a package for Kyrie Irving.
