NFL: Seahawks punished for using the Concussion Protocol

The Seattle Seahawks 8-6 were punished for their use of the Concussion Protocol. After not controlling Quarterback Russell Wilson in the game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10 in the way the rules dictate, the franchise now has to pay a $100,000 fine.

Wilson had a hard hit in the game from Cardinal’s linebacker Carlos Dansby, who was then punished for a roughing-the-passer offense. Wilson left the field for a play to investigate.

The TV cameras recorded how Wilson walked back on the pitch before the doctors could do a complete examination. Since the 10. In November, the NFL investigated the incident to determine whether there was a rule violation.
