NBA: Media: The Houston Rockers are after LeBron James

The Houston Rockets around General Manager Daryl Morey seem to have big plans. According to media reports, there are growing signs that the Texans want to try LeBron James.

Only a few weeks ago there were already media reports circulating, according to which the rockets would position themselves for a possible signing of LeBron James. ESPN insider Zach Lowe fired these rumors.

Accordingly, General Manager Daryl Morey’s plan is to submit an offer to LeBron next summer if he is an Unrestricted Free Agent. In turn, however, this does not mean that other stars are to be handed over – a new contract for Chris Paul, who will also become a Free Agent in the summer of 2018, is also to be implemented.

The plan of the rockets for the coming years should be quite simple: They want to get everything out of James Harden’s Prime. There will therefore be no transitional season, and every season is a full risk.

With Harden and Paul, one of the best backcourts in the league, coach Mike D’ Antoni sees a title window of five years.
