For Kasim Edebali, the round trip continues – and now leads him back to his first NFL team! Edebali had just been released from Los Angeles Rams after only seven days, but now the New Orleans Saints signed him up.
The Saints took Edebali over the Waiver Wire, while Hau’ oli Kikaha was put on the Injured Reserve List for his ankle injury.
As a result of Kikaha’s failure, New Orleans suddenly had a need for pass rushers, and Edebali was to be as familiar as possible with the Scheme and fellow players. From 2014 to 2016, he already played for New Orleans, his first three years in the NFL. He recorded eight sacks and 54 tackles.
After Denver, Detroit and Los Angeles, his ex-team is already the fourth franchise for which Edebali is under contract this season. Edebali played only 55 defensive snaps for Denver and was primarily used in the Special Team (163 snaps).
After all, he played 47 defensive snaps for the Lions in a shorter period of time, and he was not even on the pitch for the Rams, where he was only a week old.
