NBA: Spurs: Rudy Gay is absent for at least two weeks

The San Antonio Spurs must give up Rudy Gay for at least two weeks. The forward has contracted bursitis at the heel and will be examined again in 14 days.

This is the result of a spurs investigation. The Sixth Man is now undergoing rehabilitation and will be re-examined in two weeks. The Spurs are known for their caution, especially among veterans. So it seems possible that Gay will take a much longer break.

Last season, Gay missed almost the entire season when he tore his left Achilles tendon. This time it’s the right heel that causes gay problems.

Gay played a good season in San Antonio after his injury. In 34 games, the Small Forward scored 11.5 points and 5.2 rebounds in an average of 22.7 minutes.
