The time has come. Isaiah Thomas will make his Cleveland Cavaliers debut in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. The guard will come off the bank in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
This was confirmed by Head Coach Ty Lue. The playmaker will play with a minute limit and then suspend the next game against his old team, the Boston Celtics,”It’s a blessing,”Thomas said happily.”It took a long time and it was sometimes frustrating, but you have to have faith.”
Thomas injured his hip in the 2017 playoffs, at that time still in the service of Celtics, and did not play a single game for more than half a year “I have always given everything to make this day come true. I haven’t played a game for so long, it’s gonna be a funny feeling. I’m glad to be back.”
