NBA: Paul George does not regret expressed desire to change to the Los Angeles Lakers

The speculation about Paul George and the Los Angeles Lakers continues unabated, even though PG-13 is currently part of the Oklahoma City Thunder. The star once again emphasized that he does not regret that the Pacers told the Pacers’ front office that he liked to be traded to the Lakers.

“No, I don’t regret it at all,”George told the press when he was asked about his last summer’s change request,”All I said was that I wanted to play there,” the Pacers ignored the request and traded George to Oklahoma City instead, which was no problem for the All Star.

“I think this trade was a win-win deal for both sides. Still, George hasn’t buried his dream of the Lakers yet.” 80 percent of the players would love it if they could play in their hometown. That’s all I said.”

George was born in California and went to Fresno State, a university in the heart of California, before the Pacers secured the rights to George in Draft 2011.
