Alpine skiing: World Cup races in Adelboden to take place after landslide

Take a deep breath with the organisers of the Ski World Cup in Adelboden/Switzerland: The World Cup races will take place on Saturday and Sunday as planned. This was announced by the FIS on Friday morning.

Heavy rainfall caused landslides on Thursday and made the access road to the winter sports resort in the Bernese Oberland impassable.

According to the organisers, this road is to be made accessible again by provisional measures until Saturday morning. The teams participating in the World Cup and officials can reach the competition venue on Friday via an alternative route.
