NBA: Media: Houston Rockets bind Gerald Green – and dismiss Bobby Brown

According to various media reports, Gerald Green has won a guaranteed contract with Houston Rockets until the end of the season. In order to make room for Green, the Rockets dismiss Point Guard Bobby Brown.

This is reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. By Sunday at the latest, the rockets will have to announce Green’s commitment, and then the deadline to either extend or dismiss Green. According to Woj, however, the decision has already been made. The forward will be worth $872,000 by the end of the season.

Due to James Harden’s injury, the migratory bird immediately got a bigger role and was also on the field against the Golden State Warriors in the Crunchtime. The forward pocketed a total of 8 threes and scored 29 points.

On the other hand, the Rockets Guard Bobby Brown, who owns a Hungarian contract in Houston, will be dismissed.

For Green, who was born in Houston, it is already the eighth team in the NBA. He was voted number 18 by the Boston Celtics in 2005. Green already played a game for the rockets in the 2007/08 season.
