BBL: Alba Berlin wins top game in Ludwigsburg

Former series champion Alba Berlin won the top game in the BBL at the MHP Giant Ludwigsburg. The capitals sat down on 17. With a score of 86:67 (38:39) against the direct competitor on the first day of the game, they passed the Ludwigsburg team (24), who had previously been level on points, in second place.

The unbeaten leader of the standings Bayern Munich (30), who has been unbeaten for twelve games, will be appearing on Sunday at the Mitteldeutsche BC.

It was Alba’s third consecutive win in a row, while the hosts lost for the first time after three games. At the beginning of the third quarter, Berlin won the match with a 20:1 race.

The best casters were Albas Power Forward Luke Sikma and the Lithuanian Marius Grigonis with 15 points each. Technical problems with the timing system had caused an interruption in the first quarter.
