EBEL: KAC commits double EBEL goalscorer king

Andrew Kozek returns to the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League (EBEL) after one and a half years. The two-time top goal scorer of the league signed for the rest of the season at the KAC. This was announced by the Klagenfurt team on Sunday in front of EBEL’s best runners-up Vienna Capitals.

Kozek is expected to arrive in Carinthia early next week. According to the club, the time when the 31-year-old Canadian can make his debut for the “red jackets” also depends on the course of the registration formalities.

Kozek was already involved in Austria from 2012 to 2016 – first with the Dornbirner EC, then for three years with the Black Wings Linz. In his first and fourth season, the left wing was the best EBEL goal scorer.

Most recently he played for Vaasan in Finland and Mora IK in Sweden. Prior to that, Kozak worked for Nuremberg Ice Tigers in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) for one season.
