EBEL: Will KAC icon Koch change to Vienna Capitals?

A sensational transfer could take place in the EBEL. After the KAC Goalgetter Andrew Kozek has signed up, Thomas Koch is expected to take off. The Vienna Capitals have reportedly already expressed interest in the 34-year-old center.

As reported by the long-standing Krone editor Peter Linden, the Viennese are prepared to offer the KAC-Urgestein a two-year contract. His contract for the red jackets expires at the end of the season, and whether he will be offered a new one by the Klagenfurt team is more than uncertain in view of the overcrowded squad of eleven foreigners.

Koch became four times champion with the KAC and Red Bull Salzburg and won four A-World Championships for Austria. Most recently he showed himself in impressive form and is this season’s top scorer of the red jackets with 29 points.
