NBA: Strike against Wiggins: Thomas apologizes for ejection

The Cleveland Cavaliers have delivered a catastrophic game to the Timberwolves. Isaiah Thomas flew off the scene after he struck down Andrew Wiggins. He apologized for that.

With 6:47 minutes remaining in the third quarter, Thomas hit the wiggins on the head and throat. This one went down. After the Referees had watched the action in the video review, they rated it with a Flagrant-2 and sent Thomas to shower.

“I’ve already gotten a lot of steals. Unfortunately, I caught Andrew right at the throat. I apologized to him right away. I didn’t mean to. I’m glad he didn’t get hurt,”Thomas said after the game. Wiggins accepted this apology and declared that he did not recognize any intention in the action of his opponent.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said Thomas had taken the ball,”so I don’t think he needed to be ejected. But whatever,”he said. IT was also surprised by the referee’s decision as he “went to the ball”. But he knows that every action that goes against the opponent’s head is judged separately. Therefore, he could understand the decision of the Refs.
