Speed skating: Sven Kramer continues his career after winter games

The Dutch speed-skating star Sven Kramer wants to start his career in Pyeongchang after the Olympic Winter Games in 2018 (9th place). till 25. February). The 31-year-old record world champion and three-time Olympic champion extended his contract with the professional team LottoNL-Jumbo until the end of the 2019/2020 season. He originally wanted to end his career after the Winter Games.

At the season’s highlight in South Korea, long-distance specialist Kramer will start over 5000 and 10,000 m as well as in team pursuit and mass start:”I will concentrate 100 percent on the games and want to win. But my career doesn’t depend on whether I can finally get gold over the 10,000 m,”said Kramer.
