Coach Andrea Trinchieri from German basketball champion Brose Bamberg has to go under the knife. The 49-year-old Italian will undergo shoulder surgery next Tuesday due to increasing symptoms. Until his return, his assistant Ilias Kantzouris will be in charge of the training and will be on the sidelines as head coach.

Trinchieri’s players are no better off. After captain Elias Harris had to undergo an arthroscopy of the injured knee on Tuesday, Bryce Taylor is operated on Thursday at the calf. Luka Mitrovic is still in the rehabilitation phase. How long the trio will be canceled is open.
