NBA: LeBron on career:”I’ve achieved more than I ever dreamed.”

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers turned 33 years old at the end of December. Of course, the question of career end comes up slowly. The King doesn’t have a plan yet and wants to play for a few more years. However, he also admits that the family could be the deciding factor.

“I don’t know,”said James before the game against the Toronto Raptors about a possible career end,”the only thing keeping me from playing as long as I want are my children,” LeBron has a 13-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter. Through the many journeys James misses many games of his talented son, which LeBron doesn’t like.

In the summer he traveled with his son’s team through the country. James added that this fuelled his passion for the game. LeBron currently has 27.2 points, 9.0 assists and 8.2 rebounds with a strong cast rate of 55.8 percent. With four MVPs and three championships James has achieved almost everything in 15 years anyway.

“I’ve won more than I’ve ever dreamed of,”said the Cavs star.”All that comes now is bonus. I’ve been in the limelight for more than half my life. I never could have imagined it.”

One possible record that James could still break is the scoring record of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points). LeBron is on the verge of reaching the 30,000-point mark and could cross this hurdle if he were to stay on for another five or six years,”I feel good at the moment, not like a 33-year-old. I played so many minutes, was in seven finals in a row, but I don’t feel that,”James said about his physical condition.

So an early end to his career is out of the question, which LeBron confirmed once again.”Stop? No, I have enough shoes to sell.”
